Night of the Hermit is a home-made fan adventure game which is inspired by the excellent adventure game series “Monkey Island” from Lucas Arts, Night of the Hermit can run on both DOS and Windows systems.

If you´ve ever played any of the classic point-and-click adventure games you´ll feel right at home with Night of the Hermit.

It has now been 8 years since that pesky Guybrush left the Island. Herman has spent all of the money that he earned from that game, and things have started looking pretty bleak. Then one day a message in a bottle shows up, saying that his grandfather has died and left him his big mansion on Badger Island, somewhere in the Caribbean. So with visions of starting a new life, Herman packs his few belongings and sets out to claim his inheritance. But the thing about bottle mail is that it´s slow, very slow. So by the time Herman gets to Badger Island, he finds that someone claimed the mansion years ago, and turned it into the sleazy Crippled Badger Motel. Herman decides to spend everything that he has left (which is 12 dollars, 45 cents, and some moss) for one night at the motel, determined to find a way to reclaim what is rightfully his. And this is his story.

Ungu – Album Para Pencarimu

Pada hari ketiga Bulan Ramadhan, Sabtu (15/9), grup band Ungu meluncurkan mini album religus terbarunya bertajuk “Para PencariMu” di Hotel Jayakarta Kota Bandung. Peluncuran mini album yang hanya berisi lima lagu itu dilakukan Pasha dkk. sebelum manggung di Lapangan Gasibu Kota Bandung.

Ungu sengaja meluncurkan dalam bentuk mini album, kalau dipaksakan sebelas lagi nanti lagu lainnya nggak karuan. Kita pede dengan lima lagu saja,” kata Pasha di sela-sela peluncuran album itu. Kelima lagu pengisi mini album Ungu terbaru itu adalah “Para PencariMu”, “Sembah Sujudku”, “Surga Hati”,”Sesungguhnya” dan “Tuhanku” yang diproduksi Trinity Optima Production.Lagu “Para PencariMu” karya Enda yang menjadi pembuka sekaligus judul dari album mini itu. Mereka mempertahankan karakternya dengan formasi dua gitaris Enda dan Oncy. Gitar elektrik keduanya diraungkan dengan sedikit distorsi, dikawal rhythm section bassist Makki dan beat drum Rowman.

Para PencariMu menunjukkan kekayaan pengalaman Ungu untuk menggarap lagu-lagu religi dengan warna “medium best”.”Katakanlah, membuat lagu religi tanpa menghilangkan karakter Ungu yang ada di unsur pop rock-nya,” kata Pasha, sang vokalis. Empat lagu lainnya adalah “Sembah Sujudku” karya Enda yang bercerita tentang ucap terima kasih dari hamba Allah atas rizki yang telah diberikan. Dimana terkadang manusia, dengan sengaja atau tidak, tetap selalu berbuat dosa.

Sembah Sujudku itu mereka klaim sebagai lagu yang paling “mellow” pada mini album religi kedua dari grup band itu.Namun yang menarik, adalah lahirnya lagu “Surga Hati” karya Pasha yang merupakan pengalaman religi dari vokalis Ungu itu saat bersujud di Tanah Suci Mekah dalam perjalanan umrah tahun ini. Ungu membuka lagu dengan ritual dia di Rumah Allah, talbiyah. Suara Pasya yang sayup-sayup dikawal suara perkusi dari grup marawis. “Ajaibnya, lagu ini saya tulis di atas motor gede, di Jakarta sebelum berangkat Umroh. Saya membayangkan doa apa yang akan saya panjatkan di sana dan berkah apa yang kami dapatkan di Rumah Allah,” ungkap Pasha. Hasilnya, sebuah aransemen yang bisa membawa ke suasana yang lebih teduh. “Terus terang saya baru pertama kali ke Tanah Suci,” kata vokalis yang pernah mengondol juara lomba adzan se-Makasar saat usia remaja.Sedangkan dua lagu lainnya adalah “Sesungguhnya” dan ditutup oleh karya Enda, “Tuhanku” yang memanfaatkan paduan suara anak-anak bersalawat.Catatan lainnya, sebelum mini album ini dirilis, tiga dari lima lagu telah terpilih sebagai soundtrack sinetron religi yang tayang selama Bulan Ramadhan. “Kami menulis lagu tanpa prestasi atau tujuan untuk menjadikan best selling, yang penting pesan moral dan sujud kepada Allah memang harus ditulis dengan benar,” kata Pasha.

Itulah sebabnya, Ungu tidak produktif untuk membuat lagu-lagu pop Islami. Tapi diluar prediksi siapa pun, album religi pertama Ungu itu terjual di atas lima ratus ribu kopi. “Itu lebih dari separuh penjualan albul regular Ungu,” kata Pasha menambahkan.(antara.co.id)

RAN beranggotakan Rayi (vokal dan rap), Astono (gitar), dan Nino (vokal). Album perdana mereka akan diberi judul Ran For Your Life.

RAN dikenal penikmat musik di Tanah Air ketika single mereka, PANDANGAN PERTAMA, meraih Juara II di ajang lomba cipta lagu Insof untuk DKI Jakarta pada 2006, dan kemudian menjadi hit di stasiun radio nasional.

Lagu itu juga menjadi andalan album Ran For Your Life, selain NOTHING LOST FOREVER dan WARNA WARNI DUNIA.

RAN terbentuk karena ketiga personilnya secara kebetulan pernah belajar di satu SMA di kawasan Duren Tiga, Warung Buncit, Jakarta Selatan. Para personelnya mengaku sama-sama menyukai musik jazz, R&B dan Rap.

RAN, yang berasal dari huruf pertama nama depan tiga personel grup itu, juga diartikan keinginan Rayi, Astono, dan Nino, berlari kencang demi meraih kesuksesan.

Sementara itu, di lagu “Ku tak Suka Lagu ini”, eksplorasi rok lebih dalam. Gitar meraung-raung dengan nuansa dark rock. Namun, intonasi liriknya terdengar oldies. Cukup menyita perhatian karena awalnya terdengar aneh, tapi kemudian bisa membuat Anda memutar ulang lagu ini. Sekadar ingin tahu lebih detail atau mungkin sudah ketagihan.

Kali ini Yovie & Nuno memang tak hadir dengan personel lengkap. Berbeda dari album Kemenangan Cinta tahun 2004, Gail (vokal), Ersta (bas), dan Rere (drum) telah hengkang dari band yang didirikan Yovie ini.Namun, formasi band yang hanya terdiri dari Yovie Widianto, Dudi Oria (vokal), Diat (gitar), dan Dikta (vokal) itu tak mengurangi keindahan komposisi lagu-lagu baru mereka.
